A. Alliance for Integrated Healthcare is the parent company and New Jersey Center for Healthy Living is a division of the Alliance. The Alliance is an organization of Associates and the Associates are the practitioners and business owners that practice, support, and teach integrated healthcare.

Q. How long has the New Jersey Center for Healthy Living been in business?
A. The Alliance for Integrated Healthcare has been a Limited Liability Company in the State of New Jersey for over two years. As of March 2006, the physical location of the New Jersey Center for Healthy Living is enjoying its 2nd year at 292 Bloomfield Avenue in Montclair, NJ.

Q. Do all the Associates work at the Center in Montclair?
A. It is impossible to house under one roof, all of the wonderful healthy lifestyle and healing practices available through the Alliance for Integrated Healthcare. On our website you will find a category of Onsite Practitioners for those who do have their practices at the New Jersey Center for Healthy Living in Montclair, and an Associates Directory for those who have their practices elsewhere.

Q. Do all practitioners associated with the Alliance and with the NJ Center for Healthy Living have proper certifications and licenses?
A. It is one of the key criteria for participation in the Alliance organization and at the Center that a practitioner present proof of whatever certifications and licenses are required for their practice in the State of New Jersey.

Insurance & Payment

Q. Do the practitioners at New Jersey Center for Healthy Living take insurance?
A. This is THE most frequently asked question!
The medical doctors (M.D.’s) who have their practices at the New Jersey Center for Healthy Living have staff that process paperwork with most major insurance companies.

If you determine that you have coverage for well care or specialties such as acupuncture and chiropractic, the doctors and practitioners involved in those practices will provide you with a bill that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement directly to you. Speak with the practitioner directly regarding specific insurance coverage questions.

Q. What are the methods of payment accepted by the Center?
A. The Center accepts cash, checks with proof of ID, and all major credit cards for the services that it offers. Payment to individual doctors and other practitioners who have their practices at the Center is usually done directly to the practitioner. Occasionally we assist the individual practitioners by processing credit card payments for them.
