Sattva Education and Wellness
services are designed to provide you with information
and tools to support and enhance your own healing
and to enable reconnection to your essential
wholeness. Service modalities include the following:
Zen Shiatsu: Zen Shiatsu creates a greater sense
of wholeness, wellness and connection with the
world through balancing organ and meridian energy
systems. This technique is highly effective in
strengthening the parasympathetic nervous system
and supporting client wellness in the presence
of chronic conditions such as allergies, arthritis,
and all conditions related to chronic stress
both psychological and physical. Through strengthening
of the parasympathetic nervous system over time,
this technique allows you to feel less stress
consistently, even within the context of a demanding
lifestyle.
Shin-Tai, Life Force Recovery: Shin-Tai is an
integration of eastern and western techniques
developed by Saul Goodman of the International
Schools of Shiatzu. shin-Tai is a powerful bodywork
technique effective in resolving the residual
impact of trauma on a physical and emotional
level. As these impacts are resolved, life force
(creative force, chi or prana) which the body
has used to maintain a protective mode, is liberated.
This liberation of life force allows the client
to step fully into their lives in a new way,
creating new possibilities. Working on multiple
levels of the musculo-skeletal system, the Shin-Tai
system addresses client issues with a unique
specificity, depth and gentleness.
Healing with Whole Foods: Using the principles
of traditional Chinese medicine, the client's
diet is assessed and a program designed to support
the healing process. Profound results can occur
in a very short period of time. This program
works nicely in conjunction with acupuncture
sessions or regular Shiatsu/Shin-Tai treatments.
