Creating a Healthy Lifestyle Through Tai Ji, Qigong, and Coherent Breathing

with Norman Galinsky and Dr. Ken Silvestri
November 5th, 2017 1:00 – 4:00 PM
Tuition:  $50.00

It is now recognized that certain forms of stress are at the root of all chronic illnesses.  Qigong and Tai Ji Quan, which have evolved over hundreds of years, consist of very gentle movements that when combined with Coherent Breathing offer an effective nontoxic process for enhancing and healing one’s autonomic nervous system. Learning these body/mind procedures, plus discussing their application to specific circumstances will give participants accessible tools for reducing stress and realizing greater self-fulfillment.

NORMAN GALINSKY has practiced and taught the Chinese martial and healing arts of Tai Ji Quan and Qigong as well as other energetic healing disciplines for over 30 years.  He has in New York hospitals, including NY Presbyterian, under the direction of Mehmet Oz, MD, Englewood Hospital, Nyack Cancer Center, and St. John’s Riverside Hospital in Yonkers, NY, as well as his studio in Palisades, NY.  After an early career as a chemical engineer, he earned an MFA at Columbia University, and has been exhibiting his work as an artist extensively in the New York area. www.normangalinsky.com

New Paula Method classes begin this week.

The Paula Method is a gentle exercise technique that anyone, of any age, can practice and enjoy to help enhance a balanced, healthy life, while increasing vitality.  Simple tools, used daily, both help the body to strengthen and to move with grace and ease, and thereby achieve physical and mental balance.

For new students wishing to join group sessions, a package of 10 group sessions and 6 private lessons is offered.  See below for tuition.
